A beautiful Peak District circular taking in classic limestone scenery, peaceful dales, and nature reserves. Starting from Monsal Head, this route drops into Wyedale before winding through Deep Dale Nature Reserve and Shacklow Wood. A varied and scenic walk offering rolling terrain, quiet valleys, and woodland sections throughout.

❌ This hike may not be suitable for:
Complete beginners with no prior walking experience
Anyone unable to walk for approximately 4–5 hours, even with breaks
Pushchairs or off-road buggies due to uneven terrain
❄️ Winter Conditions
Expect muddy and uneven paths in places
Limestone sections may be slippery when wet
Valley areas can be wet underfoot
Pace and timings will be adjusted depending on conditions

Sturdy hiking boots with good grip
