A classic Peak District edge walk combining dramatic gritstone escarpments, sweeping Derwent Valley views, and quieter woodland and riverside sections. This varied circular takes in Froggatt, Curbar and Baslow Edges before looping through the Derwent Valley, offering big views, open moorland paths, and peaceful lower-level trails.

Descend into the Derwent Valley
Riverside and woodland sections before the return climb
Complete the circular back to the start point

❄️ Winter Conditions
Exposed edge sections can be windy and cold
Rocky gritstone paths may be slippery when wet or icy
Woodland and valley paths can be muddy
Pace and timings will be adjusted depending on conditions
