I've signed up for my biggest challenge yet... running my first ever marathon at the London Marathon 2027.
It's something I've always wanted to do, and I'm incredibly proud to be taking on this challenge in support of Summits Up. The work they do to support people struggling with their mental health is nothing short of life changing.
Mental health is a cause that's very close to my heart. I've had close friends and family who have experienced mental health struggles, and I've seen first-hand the incredible support Summits Up has provided when they needed it most. Quite simply, they've helped save lives.
Last year, my family experienced the devastating loss of my cousin, who took her own life after a long battle with her mental health. It's a loss that has changed us forever.
By running the London Marathon, I hope to honour her memory while raising vital funds to help Summits Up continue providing life-saving support to those who need it. If sharing her story and taking on this challenge encourages even one person to seek help or helps Summits Up reach someone in their darkest moment, every mile will have been worth it.
