This month marks one year since Summits Up was founded and nine months since we began funding therapy.
We’re incredibly proud to share that we have now reached our 70th referral.
That's 70 local people who have received urgent support when they needed it most.
Seventy fathers.
Seventy mothers.
Seventy sons and daughters.
Seventy brothers, sisters, friends and colleagues.
Each referral represents someone who reached out at a difficult point in their life and was able to access professional help quickly, often within days rather than waiting months.
When we started Summits Up, we had no funding, no guarantees, and no idea how quickly demand would grow. Today, we are funding therapy for around 3-5 people every week, helping those who simply cannot afford to wait.
This milestone belongs to everyone who has supported the charity so far. Every donation, fundraising challenge, hike, event entry and share on social media has helped make these 70 referrals possible.
While we're incredibly proud of what we've achieved in our first year, we know there is still so much more to do.
